Equipment Donation Project

Have an unwanted racquet? Donate it! BWF Shuttle Time 'Equipment Donation Programme'

The BWF, in association with Yonex and Badminton Australia, are joining forces to "give every child a chance to play" as part of the Equipment Donation Project.

The Shuttle Time school programme utilises old donated badminton racquets and sends them to schools in countries that have little or no access to badminton equipment, providing children the opportunity to participate in a great sport.

In the lead-up to the 2015 The Star Australian Badminton Open, Yonex will place donation boxes at participating stores to collect unwanted badminton equipment. All of the donated equipment will be taken to children living in underprivileged countries. Participating stores will be advertised on FB, so do look out for them.

There will also be a collection booth next to the Yonex store at the 2015 The Star ABO. Donate your racquet, shoes and other badminton equipment for a good cause. You will receive a voucher for your donation, which can only be used at the sport store during the event. Simply locate the banner at the event to donate.

Please contribute to this worthwhile venture.
